We’re honored that you’d visit our site! I’d also like to wholeheartedly extend an invitation for you to join us for an upcoming worship gathering: Sundays, 10:00am at Blue Horizons Elementary School. I would count it a great blessing to meet you, your family and others you might bring with you.

Our church exists for the sole purpose of ministering the Truth of the Word of God. After serving as a full-time Shepherd for 25 years, leading a truly challenging building campaign, enjoying the privilege of introducing many to Christ and discipling many in the ways of Christ’s Kingdom, I still found myself exasperated and disenfranchised by overt expressions of misalignment to God’s Word among so much of today’s Christian Church. Along with my wife and many other ministry companions, I therefore decided to embark on a new season of ministry in an effort to uphold the standards of God’s Word with greater fervency than ever before. That’s when Availing Truth Bible Church began taking shape. In partnership with the greatest people anywhere, God has established this congregation with a passionate love for His Word and loyalty toward His ways.

We like to characterize Availing Truth as a simple church. While we want to win as many to the cause of Christ as possible, our goal and ambition is NOT to become a numerically large organization. We simply want to be an assembly of believers that Christ takes joy in, whether aesthetically impressive or not. Regardless of a few hundred members or a few thousand, we keep our focus on pleasing Him, loving one another and thinking nothing of ourselves.

If I was to simplify the ministry heart of Availing Truth down to a few key points of emphasis for Christ-centered growth season after season, I might suggest:

1. Insightful & Grace-Centered Biblical Preaching
2. Impactful & Challenging Biblical Discipleship
3. Meaningful & Sincere Biblical Care

Yet whether we’re looking at a website or even attending a worship gathering, I can appreciate how it can feel difficult to garner a clear sense of what makes a church unique and distinct. So allow me to be less simplistic about what sets us apart, offering this list of distinctives in an effort to clearly paint the picture of who we are and what we aim to accomplish…at Availing Truth Bible Church, we emphasize (in no particular order):

As a genuinely Christian assembly, we are unwavering in preaching salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ Jesus alone. We preach from the 66 books of the Old and New Testament, holding them as the only inspired Word of God. We reject all forms of religious legalism and effort-based justification, while celebrating and championing the transformative supernatural power of the Holy Spirit.

We also believe in the vitality of discipling future generations, which is why we have vibrant Kids’ and Student Ministries led by skilled, trustworthy and Godly people.

Finally, we strongly emphasize friendliness and relational interaction. Our Seasonal Groups Ministry enables our congregation to sustain meaningful connections with other believers, as well as to their personal sense of ministry calling.
